(ie, they typed it out but there's no money in the wallet)

2.  Reply with something that will make the author LIKE THE CAST

3.  Author lIKES - effectively awarding you a % of the degen

4.  End of the month, all LIKED casts get a % of degen from that cast

Make an official bot that replies automatically either if the user have funds or not.

checks how much balance they have in the wallet and how much they "spent" casting raindrops (the second part needs work like backfilling the data).

I like this much more than the moneygun in that casters using it to farm engagement will have to do so using their own funds, rather than using tip allowances. That seems a lot more palatable to me.

I see what you’re saying. @jacek said zero support so there may not be a bot validating a rainmaker’s wallet balance. (Could you imagine the code behind such a validation? It would be more complicated than a Dune query.)

Also, raindrops come from someone's own supply, right? There's no airdrop tie-in.

I'm sure someone is already building it. But no native functionality that I saw.

I suspect users will start screen shotting their wallet transfers or something, then THAT will get duped... on and on.

This does make the game more interesting 😅
