web3 is known for its financial purpose, and of course there are some innovations there: decentralized pools, yeilds, nfts, etc.
What I think hasn't been addressed here is its strength, which is the whole permission-less idea
we could have more decentralized clouds, decentralized blogs, decentralized dbs, decentralized code sand-boxes etc. but we have not
current web3 vibe is like web2 vibe before .com bubble, small teams trying to find an idea to just create a hype and gain
But i think when the market decides to give less profit to these temporary projects, more sustainable & user-need focused projects starting to emerge
another thing is that i think web3 suffers from lack of real users, while everyone in web2 is a real user, most web3 users are here to get a fast gain and go, so there is not enough motivation for devs to ship some A-class products on web3 0 reply
