Whats the best argument for Nouns NFTs appreciating in value [at some future point] and how do we get there?

does that mostly come down to speculative asset value then?

Yes. I don’t see it happening any other way. Too much internal strife to do it with props and governance. 

Perhaps something tied to DUNA execution could have an impact.

so, probing this a bit more..asuming im a whale, whats the reason for me to speculate on nouns nfts if i dont believe its worth can be correlated to a "function" of nouns (eg governance)

is it just to dump on eventual fools?

In essence although I would frame it slightly differently and suggest that as we see this cycle shift, parking some liquidity in projects that have a potential upside and proven track record with historical relevance would be my take. 

As we move through memecoin mania I find myself swapping speculation into established projects tokens.

It could be a paradigm shift with DUNA. Strong first mover recognition and leaning into education could have a meaningful impact. 

When I had a good cycle I looked to Punks over Nouns as a potential store of value. After three+ years in the Nouns ecosystem the upside looks pretty lean for the erc20s. Especially with the treasury nouns just sitting there.

right, so nouns is just part of the crypto cycle and hedging some funds in nouns can be thought of as having funds in other longer term coins (or maybe nfts as an asset class)
