Coffeecasters — sometimes I get the jonesing for a cup instead of my usual bang energy. What do you recommend as the ultimate coffee/espresso maker (that doesn’t also require a PhD in coffeeology)?

I *highly* recommend getting a Chemex. Won't break the bank, is beautiful even when not being used, and makes a really great coffee when you use a quality bean

I should also note this is hand-blown (right?!?) and was recommended to me by a career barista for making great, low-maintenance coffee at home

I’ve always been curious about these as a mocha pot and French press user. Is it just filter on top and fine grinded beans on top and pour hot water on top? That’s it right?
