I think it’s because it’s so dramatic and taboo that it distorts how it’s used narratively. Here’s hoping the Overton window shift fixes this too.

While I agree with the sentiment, some of me believes so much of the sex that is in modern entertainment is completely irrelevant and unnecessary to any of the story/entertainment contained in most.

I don’t need to see what someone else’s idea of sex is, in every show or movie..
