It's been a goal of mine to not need VC money, but what makes you say this?

Warpcast, Supercast. 
Maybe there’s a point where client can sustain venture scale returns. Otherwise client has to crush VC returns or VC return expectations forces clients to capture protocol.

I expect most VC investments force clients to make decisions that aren’t optimal long term. Overtaken by non VC clients.
