This is a first for me: 

My checking account was compromised over the holidays and a few ACHs were created without my knowledge 

So now I have to cancel the checking account and set up a new one

Crazy how you basically just need a checking account number and a name and you can set up ACHs...

At least with a credit card there is 2FA with PINs/security codes

But what about crypto wallets? 🤔

Thanks! US bank accounts come with protections…so it’s some paperwork and likely they reimburse me.

It’s a bit of a pain to change other standing payments, but all part of the game these days
