previously @layer3xyz gave some degen (few amounts) as reward coin. Also i already know talent protocol has a tipping mechanism too did not use it personally (I have talent passport). e.g.: ss my allocation.

that was what I was thinking, something through Galxe/Layer3/Daylight that gave out tiny amounts of DEGEN.

From the sharp spike that's not totally vertical, it looks like there was a claim somewhere and not a single-tx airdrop

not sure, my thoughts are:
- direct distribution method from a Farcaster client
- some client I'm not aware of that distributes small amounts of DEGEN
- farming some app or query that looks for DEGEN holders

interesting because it's so dramatic in the last week
the more shallow rise in <100 holders is probably a normal distribution method, while the sharp jumps are likely single deliberate events
