Absolute gem of a game. I was a big fan of Crypt and have been waiting eagerly to get my hands on this title. Brace Yourself Games was awesome enough to give me an early key and I must say, this game is everything I wanted and more.

This game would have felt complete just with the arcade style track listing. The soundtrack slaps and the challenge ramps up by leaps and bounds depending on what difficulty you select to play. 

The story mode is where the game's charm comes into play. I laughed out loud at some of Cadence's lines. Everyone's personality is given room to shine here, and we get to see a bit more about how these characters interact with each other. If I had to compare it to another title, I'd say it feels similar to working through the story in the Puyo Puyo Tetris games. Which is a great thing, in my opinion! The story is supplemented by fun little mini-games (a-la Rhythm Haven) and boss battles along the way.
