Absolute gem of a game. I was a big fan of Crypt and have been waiting eagerly to get my hands on this title. Brace Yourself Games was awesome enough to give me an early key and I must say, this game is everything I wanted and more. This game would have felt complete just with the arcade style track listing. The soundtrack slaps and the challenge ramps up by leaps and bounds depending on what difficulty you select to play. The story mode is where the game's charm comes into play. I laughed out loud at some of Cadence's lines. Everyone's personality is given room to shine here, and we get to see a bit more about how these characters interact with each other. If I had to compare it to another title, I'd say it feels similar to working through the story in the Puyo Puyo Tetris games. Which is a great thing, in my opinion! The story is supplemented by fun little mini-games (a-la Rhythm Haven) and boss battles along the way.

After playing, you'll discover a newfound attraction to sexy nuns, adding to your collection of fetishes! PLOT/MUSIC/GRAPHICS PLOT: Nun-vampires battle traditional vampires to save humanity. You choose one of three nuns to assist in a cathedral. MUSIC: The soundtrack is energetic, featuring a strong opening theme reminiscent of DOOM. Most battle scenarios are accompanied by upbeat tracks. GRAPHICS: The game looks decent, with the nuns' various outfits being the highlight—from revealing to latex battle gear, plus artwork by Chowbie. GAMEPLAY: Similar to Hades, you choose one character from three without the option to switch. Each nun has unique abilities, with Preiya and Sane offering more engaging melee combat compared to Marie's ranged style. The gameplay involves room exploration, character upgrades, and boss battles. There are two endings: vampire and human, influenced by your choices throughout the game.

No ping, no life. The game relies on three pillars: ping, FPS, and memorizing combo attacks for all weapons. You practice until you can execute them with your eyes closed. With each update, skins get prettier and more elaborate. During intense battles, you find yourself mesmerized by flashy skins while your computer lags. Beautiful outfits can be a battle tactic. Everyone complains about Chinese players, but the real challenge is finding a reliable teammate as your rank rises. Sometimes, it's easier to play with randoms and let go of the pressure. Yet, the urge to keep playing remains—perhaps it's masochism!

Aloft Well, what can I say... The islands feel very empty at the moment. I didn't like the building mechanics so far because attaching pieces point by point feels like I'm building a house in 3D modeling software. Yes, this approach has its place, but in that case, a flight mode should be added. I think in six months to a year it could be quite decent, maybe livelier. The price of 1390 is overpriced (very much so). For that amount, it's better to buy Palworld.

As much as I want to put a positive review, I can't. For me, Icarus is most fun with friends and with this error #028 / p2p network error, I can't play with any of my friends, vise versa with one another. I remember this being an issue with the games release, we stopped playing, came back a couple years later, and it was great (where most of my hours came in), now after coming back almost a year later again, we can't stay on the same server for more than 5 minutes without getting this error. Any fix we've looked up doesn't work, and there's otherwise no help from staff from what I could find. When this is fixed I'll update my review but so far this is the only game I've ever had this issue is so prevalent on.

Path of Exile 2 It's hard to judge this ARPG product as the story isn't complete and many classes aren't available yet. Overall, it feels similar to Diablo, Last Epoch, and Titan Quest. While there are new mechanics like dodging, the gameplay remains familiar, and builds aren't as broken as in other games. However, the lack of quality-of-life features, such as an auction house and sorting inventory, is disappointing. Currently, the game is still rough around the edges. While spending money on premium features isn't necessary, the content available is limited. The graphics and sound are average compared to other titles, and the game can lag even on high-end systems. If you're not a hardcore fan, wait for the free version.

@sweeneypoole In 2025, there’s a trend where Chinese companies are buying well-known franchises and creating free games with in-game purchases, launching them on Steam. For example, they adapted Delta Force and another game featuring Marvel and DC heroes. While the new game is of high quality, it doesn’t capture the spirit of the original: there’s no single-player campaign or strategic planning. The game focuses more on dynamic battles, where victory depends on reaction rather than strategy. Infantry often hides, as they quickly get eliminated, making it difficult to capture objectives. Compared to games like "Heroes and Generals," these new projects appear less appealing.

Good Games You Might Have Missed in December (PART 2): Battle Shapers What's interesting about it: a colorful roguelike shooter from Ubisoft veterans. VOIN What's interesting about it: an impressive, albeit crude, mix of Skyrim, Diablo and Dark Souls. Symphonia What's interesting: audiovisual ecstasy in the guise of a precision platformer. AntonBlast What's interesting about it: a crazy platformer about an alcoholic fighting the devil.

Good Games You Might Have Missed in December (PART 1): New Arc Line What's interesting about it: a game that is somewhat similar to a mix of Baldur's Gate III and Arcanum. Neon Blood What's interesting about it: a weak game, but an interesting cyberpunk story. Enigma of Fear What's interesting: "pixel" Resident Evil about a girl detective with a dog. Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy What's interesting about it: a traditional fantasy role-playing game from the creators of ATOM RPG. Songs of Conquest What's interesting: the first new faction DLC for one of the best variations of Heroes of Might and Magic.
