So if you’re a capitalist do you want to move to any random capitalist country? Just because you subscribe to an ideology doesn’t mean you have to want to live somewhere just because they practice that ideology. This makes no sense.

if im a capitalist, and i lived in a communist country, and i could move to a capitalist country, yes 100% i would or maybe i wouldn't i dont know but i know for sure i tried to live in china and i only lasted a year before i had to gtfo. culture differences were far too vast

I’m not a geopolitics expert (shocking) but the problem with any ideology is that the enforcement of said ideology is still in the hands of the powerful elite. Most communists don’t think China is a paradise or that they’re doing a bang up job (or that they’re even truly communist). The blockade on Cuba and the Cuban government’s inability to put their people before their ego makes it nearly unlivable by any standard. Even if you love capitalism, there are tons of capitalist countries that are totally fucked up and hostile. So being a communist doesn’t mean you want to live in a country practicing some shitty version of communism. Not to mention, most people can’t just up and leave wherever they have roots because some other place sounds better to them.

ok this take is pretty based but i still think its weird to spend your whole day converting a capitalist country to a communist one instead of going and trying to help people who supposedly believe the same things you do
