Confession: the rewards leaderboard has been deterring me from wanting to make new content. I feel like I’m someone who puts a good amount of effort into my content, and definitely a lot with my scripted videos. I see a lot of people who make amazing, thoughtful content and never end up in the top 5.

oh that's really wack I enjoy your content I think the issue here might be that that the leaderboard is designed for wordcels, not for video content you put more effort into your vids than the average youtuber lol maybe try short/dumb/post a lot? or hopefully we get different kinds of leaderboards

Like tbh I never expected to get top 5 (except one time where I got fucked by being in Europe) but sometimes I see really awesome content and I think, damn, if that accounts not top 5, there is no hope for the rest of us. And then I remember that it doesn’t matter and nothing actually matters and we are all just tiny little specks floating through space on a tiny little rock.

I find it interesting because I really think farcaster can be a good disruptor to social media I guess what that might be is a consistency thing. can guarantee if those accounts knew the fine art of replyguying, then they'd be in top 100. but this is extra work I dono how I keep placing high, I need to get a life perhaps
