There’s this quote from naval that says people often chase pleasure when trying to go after happiness which is great short term but doesn’t typically lead to long term happiness or joy. 

And for me, long term happiness and fulfillment means setting up my life to have more things and people in it that light me up than drain me, having lots of fun and doing things that get me closer to my goals and dreams.
