Also I would be pro nuclear if politicians in my country weren’t using it as an excuse to delay phasing out fossil fuels 😕

I don’t know the maths exactly, but I’d think solar is a large up front cost with a long term payoff, where as nuclear is a “small” upfront cost (for the same output) but requires continual supply which can be expensive compared to letting solar panels just bake in the sun (this is literally just me yapping btw)
