I feel like the AI agents transacting in crypto thing is less that agents “need” crypto to transact and more that they might just “prefer” it

if payments were the only feature used, i agree that crypto would only be a minor upgrade but for more advanced financial transactions it will be much easier to integrate agents into DeFi that to update the existing financial system
