I figured it out if anyone is curious. Although not sure why this should matter. I previously wasnt returning a few og metatags. But when I added "title", "description", and "og:image", the frame showed in the cast preview before posting it.

Just stumbled across something strange so sharing it with you all. If you don't respond with certain metatags, even if they are not fc related, the frame wont show in the preview of the cast.

because frames is an extension of opengraph protocol, it requires some of the basic og tags. og:image is currently required for frames [1]

cast previews currently only process standard og tags.
