This is kinda niche, but the whole UX around Trimble products (owners of SketchUp) is so bad that it makes Adobe Creative Cloud look good

Whoa just looked them up again after not having used them in 5+ years. Were they acquired? What happened to them? They used to be somewhat decent for a free product

Yeah, they got bought by Trimble a long time ago, but things got shitty when it turned to a SaSS product in 2020. The product itself isn't bad, it's all the subscription management around it that's a hot mess
