Hey @matthew, want to take @coffeebot up a notch and match people smartly based on what they do on the app? Ain’t nobody got time for random intros! (most churn after 2-3 random matches, this is what killed lunchclub.com - their matches were bad + the avg user quality went down).

Main reason we started off with random is because the quality people on farcaster is already so high that being paired with a random person will likely be a valuable connection. Whereas with lunch club, pool of people consisted of anyone and everyone. But def gonna look into personalization, maybe even IRL events 👀

Yes the general high quality reduces the bar for a good match.. but I’d say that even today on FC, most people will enjoy meeting ~20% of the other users by relevance.
