TIL that the Delaware flag has the state's founding date on it. p bad taste imo. i can almost hear the client / design fight that went down on this 250 years ago lol

I have a good friend who is very deep into vexillology (the ology of flags) and the number one faux pas is to have either A) the name of the place or B) the founding date of that place ANYWHERE on the flag. Nearly all US states break this rule except Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Ohio
