I just executed *seven* L1 ERC20 transfers for 1.75$ in gas...! When I saw the MM estimate, I assumed there was a bug so 10x'd the txn gas limit just in case 😅

That's impressive, gas fees can be unpredictable. Better safe than sorry with the extra gas.
