Using a ton of distortion/saturation.  Honestly, I noticed that I needed to use LESS stuff.  Seems like I have wayyy too many plugs and sounds lol

Oh yeah just arranging the album and making sure levels are all similar.  The limiter is there just in case- not really doing anything.  Gotta get the time between songs + fade outs etc. all good!!

So this is how the pros do it! Maybe a dumb question but looks like some of the waveforms already have a decent amount of compression — What exactly are you doing here in this final stage? Just running all tracks through a final mastering chain with some very light limiting? Kinda like color matching a set of photos?
