Look Jacek, imma be real with you This announcement just looks like you’re trying to avoid accountability for the fact that people followed the rules laid down by you and your team. For the farmers I can’t say anything in their defense because they really hurt the price and the community of genuine and honest degens and I know it hurts more because they’re the “cabal” = your “friends” But the purpose of this thread is to be an objective voice for the genuine victims of this ‘ban’ I know you think being firm is the best option and frankly it seems like it but consider that people depend on this monthly claim to fend for themselves and take care of their families Solution: Give the people who followed your tip4tip rule but still maintained the <15 ratio at least half of their season’s worth and let this serve as a warning for future players Why? They’re the core of the community, the builders, the artists, the ones who never took their hats off.. contd

…even when price dropped so bad because of nefarious activities from the farmers and quite frankly they literally followed your rule Still a great project and I understand where this decision is coming from and the need to make a strong stand but a lot of people are losing faith and thinking what if the rules change again next season or worse everyone gets banned for something you set? Hope you consider this and the hat stays on as usual but the vibes are shifting and you should definitely compromise.

Rule #1: Tips are not yours until they are paid out. Unfortunately there’s only farmers, 99% low/negative value adders focused on $degen tipping at this point and making them happy has negative effects for $degen. Ruthless execution. Focus on high value adders, finding the right incentives to grow. Then you can sprinkle some money/tips towards potential additional growth drivers for temporary max growth - until it’s overfarmed again. continuous value leakage ain’t it.

Disrespecting Farcaster Users Recently, @jacek has introduced new rules for the Degen project. However, unfortunately, these rules have been retroactively applied to the past month of user activity, completely disregarding their efforts. The overall sentiment in the Farcaster community right now makes it clear that many users feel disrespected. There are a number of people who have farmed and used bugs. But there are many people who followed the rules of tip4tip. But at the end of the road, new rules have been applied and the real people of the community have been introduced as farmers @jacek
