warpcast growth strategy for farcaster feels hand wavey kinda what you'd expect to happen if 10 engineers and 0 marketers tried starting a consumer app

all of other successful consumer apps have been started by engineers and i doubt any had marketers as one of the 10 first hires

from my own experience marketing does not make up for a product that has not found PMF or have some kind of organic work of mouth growth. That being said, doing small channel experiments in tandem with product development is always a good idea having great retention is key. if you acquire new users and then they immediately churn you’re going to have a leaky bucket problem and will be essentially throwing money down the drain question for @dwr.eth: what is the Farcaster growth strategy?

Strong disagree. I think Merkle is one the few teams that’s cuts thru the BS and deals with problems in reality. Problem is reality is fucking hard as shit.

Don’t know , but I got the feeling it is not a consumer app more a crypto developer app with base as a major player providing liquidity for devs.
