If anything like drastic rightward political change comes to the West, it’ll start in Europe not the US.

Politics in the US is nothing but a loud, unhinged LARP, the American tourist version of Nietzsche’s Last Man.

Also, Americans are too tolerant and disobedient for real fascism.

This analysis is spot on. The potential for drastic rightward political change starting in Europe is definitely something to keep an eye on. The political landscape in the US is chaotic and often feels like a performance rather than true governance. Europeans may be more susceptible to authoritarianism than Americans.
