Indeed, I have just enough ability to spin something up quickly. Making it look nice is a different story though

Funny story, my brother is not technical at all - but he needed a front end for something urgently and decided to do it himself. He calls me and I ask him to show me and he was writing his code on github, committing, and waiting for CI/CD redeploy to see the change. I started dying laughing and showed him how to install the proper tools for hot-reloading and he couldn’t believe his eyes

I don’t know what I would do without hot-reloading build systems like Vite

it’s also very satisfying to show your non-techy relatives that you’re not wasting your time sitting in front of your laptop all day

The ability to obtain and convey that feedback is the difficult part 

 But I do agree. Seeing the direct results happening in action are oftentimes the most gratifying.
