Why would EA cause someone to experiment with drugs or dangerous sports..? Seems like a weird false equivalency.

I think he’s saying EA was worse on those friends than the drugs or sports were on the friends that explored those.

This is a really good point! I suspect Nick is stating that he observed this correlation within his friend groups, though I’m sure there are a lot of EA folks who do good and live normal lives as well.
