Do we feel like protocols will ever be brave and utilize proof-of-humanity solutions to distribute airdrops and just take the heat from the bots? Seems like they get fudded by the sybil-operated bots anyways.. I know Linea has been using some PoH protocols, but considering the numbers I'm not so confident it's even preventing sybils still lol. Maybe they just aren't mature enough or we just need to go back to ICOs? 😅 I kind of like the idea of everyone having access to the cheap seed prices instead but having a sybil filter + address limit. WDYT?

There is no such thing as proof of humanity. All those projects are just memes that don’t actually solve anything. Besides. It’s not human vs bots. It’s good content vs spam. Or real users vs farmers. Crypto projects that focus on proving their users are human are focusing on the wrong thing.

I generally agree and like this take. When I say sybils though I mean farmers in general, the bots are operated by farmers after all. But you don't think the "privacy preserving" KYC protocols or something like World Coin is effective at eliminating most of the farming? I dont think there is really a way to eliminate individual farmers using one account. If we expect perfect then we should just stop with airdrops right?

Worldcoin is a joke haha. You can buy KYCed worldcoin accounts for like $50. In fact, most people who signed up for worldcoin are farmers who did it exclusively for the rewards. So if anything, worldcoin is actually an anti signal.
