Users with priority mode turned on, like priority mode. Users without the power badge, don’t like priority mode and want more visibility to users with priority mode turned on. Making power badge more permissive, increases spam. Makes everyone unhappy (except the spammers) Solve for X.

I think the question is, can we continue to grow Farcaster's user base if a lot (possibly a majority) of users feel like they can't be heard because they don't have a badge. It's discouraging for people to try and establish a presence here. Especially when they find out that people aren't even seeing their comments.

Gotcha. That does make sense. Random Thought: Power Badge > Verified Caster (some new status) > New User Create an easy to pass gate similar to warps required to post on certain channels. This status would be seen in priority notifications.

This might be able to work. I don't pretend to know what the solution is. It's obviously a challenging thing to solve for. But I do think the current situation is counterintuitive for FC's future growth. People want to feel heard. Many won't stay here if they feel like they're yelling into the void.
