It wouldn't be the first time something I had great hopes for didn't work out, but something separate-but-related did. Let's not get ahead of ourselves tho. Maybe the Walrus airdrop will suck. Maybe WinX releases Rollify and makes good on everything they've promised. Who tf knows bro.

If the Walrus airdrop is nice, that would just complicate my opinion of WinX, because the only reason I qualified for that much is probably bc of the 140,000+ manual transactions on my account. And like 80% of those are from coin flips on WinX.

In 6th grade, they taught us about banks and explained what the Federal Reserve was. I raised my hand bc I was confused. I said if we didn't have enough money for things, why can't they just print more? Everyone laughed like this was the stupidest idea they'd ever heard. You can't, they said. It'd cause inflation.

Wow for once the timing worked out. I started flipping a lot less (5k WIN which = 0.28 Sui) the moment before I started losing a noticeable amount of games. Perhaps there's hope for me......for Reckoner....for all mysterious sources of income......

But the Unihouse gas fee is still better than the alternatives, assuming that Degen Coin Flip is still pulling this trick. 10,000 coin flips would cost at least 10 Solana in this case. It's hard to check what people are actually paying on DCF these days, though, because SOL explorers are impossible to parse.

What sucks is that some of the games on WinX actually use DoubleUp, like Limbo, which costs over 12X as much gas on average (abt 0.01 Sui vs. 0.0008 Sui) due to Unihouse contract. And I like limbo bc you can adjust the multiplier. But 10k limbo games costs 100 Sui, while 10k coin flips costs 8 Sui.

The “thinking” was probably it using the File Search tool mid-chat instead of the beginning, I forgot it does that sometimes. As for the “I remember” stuff, could look more into how cached prompts work.

Odd things happening with gpt-4.5. It claimed, "I remember briefly exploring some of these characters with you before..." in a brand new chat. It also appeared to "think" for a moment mid-response when reviewing an uploaded file. Probably hallucinations or odd, cached prompt behavior. Or OpenAI is testing something.
