I was thinking of using Reg CF - regulation crowdfunding. The difficult thing is all the KYC stuff necessary.

There's a number of projects doing this, the biggest problem comes down to regulation. Finding a framework compatible with Reg A/A+ is probably the easiest path forward, but even then there are still stipulations with various state laws and still requires working with an organization hellbent on stopping crypto (SEC)

These two questions are why I had imagined the initial product being like Wefunder but built on crypto rails. So it's a way to crowdfund startups and actually get equity legally. Wefunder does this now by leveraging Regulation CF (RE: compliance). I think this could be a good fit for early crypto startups...

Would imagine the two hard problems here:

1. Identifying the initial set of customers (and how you can make them aware ofthis)

2. Regulation

Apparently you can also be a "funding portal" idk if that is a different option than what you are stating though

Will need a broker dealer license under FINRA, with the most difficult set of licenses to get (those that concern primary issuance).

Yeah using Reg CF is an interesting way to get a product out but there are a ton of KYC hurtles. For example, you need to know each users annual income and they need to be in US. I’d like to do this but I need a partner with some experience building compliant services.

Problem statement is amazing. Crypto and tokenizations biggest value here is the operational efficiencies it provides to the fundraising process. 1 token = 1 dollar invested, simple contract, secondary liquidity, etc. Net I love the idea and explored it myself once but regulations is the biggest roadblock
