I think I'm in that same range when averaged out. It might be more like 30 min every other month with about one "situation" each year requiring more time.

Even when the world is on fire the network stays running. Ethereum is the world computer.

I've been seeing it in firefox. Switching my VPN to a different location usually works, but it's been taking a few tries recently.

After DCing with @kyle, this is almost certainly it.

I verified that my LastPass export contains the key.

I (correctly) moved off of LP in late 2022 after the first hack and moved to Ledger / paper / 1Password after the breach.

However, I lazily never moved away from my primary hot wallet.

Its key was in LastPass.

here's yet another reminder:
if you ever put keys in LastPass - gtfo of that wallet. people are STILL getting hit in waves. there are probably still more to come

I think I had a similar experience. Learning that there were other operating systems besides windows and mac blew my mind. I started playing with linux distros after that.

I suspect it's something like that. People love to say that it's just statistics to make it sound less impressive, but stats can be awfully powerful when you're throwing around billions of parameters.

Yeah, getting geth below 66% would be huge. They would not be able to finalize a bugged fork then.

Always been afraid of this sort of thing with email providers. It's a huge pain since email is the og center of your online identity pre-blockchains.
