Whatβs with this new wave of people quote-casting instead of replying to a cast? Are these folks afraid of the spam label? Trying to earn more Warpcast Rewards? Ngl, I donβt like itβ¦feels like Iβm being dunked on or something. Teeters being rude. π

Better or worse then 5 unnecessary @'s? Wonder what @pichi thinks? Sorry, buy she started it with the quote cast!

I already replied and unironically quote casted this on purpose.

Yea that's what led me here unironically tagging you on purpose.:) But a very interesting subject how both larger accounts and new users are taking the fat end of the bat in an effort to separate them from each other. Would still prefer to be the large fish TBH but in this battle everyone loses.

When the meta gets insane, the team pivots how the scoring works. Seems like a good way to get their attention ;)

To be fair, I don't really see a significant detriment to being quote casted, so I don't feel like it's losing on my end. I think there was a previous social norm that you typically (but not always) quote cast someone to dunk on them, and I noticed lately I've been quote casted way more, but they seemed pretty harmless, and I was trying to figure out why the sudden spike. At the end of the day, I say do what you need to do to grow your account, and I'm behind you 100%...I just gotta adapt and get used to it. :) I think many of my fellow Farcasters feel the same way.
