if economy only meant making money I wouldn’t like this framing

but if you read much more broadly (note the definition Dan included) it’s actually v exciting

economy implies a complex, bottom up process where people building things, innovation is happening, ideas are being exchanged but also put into contact with reality (Polymarket vs endless punditry), ideas and vibes turn into capital that turns into creations that express those ideas and vibes

basically things happen in an economy, it’s a live environment
