Yes and It's bitter. Something that helped me ease into it was a blend from Samovar in SF which includes toasted rice: https://www.samovartea.com/product/ryokucha/

If you can get used to it it's totally worth it. Foam it up, add milk, do whatever it takes to ease in haha
