I'm happy to announce that I'm finally launching my long-awaited prediction market! How does it work? I'm going to pick a number (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5). You can buy a coin corresponding to the number you think I'm going to pick. If you predict correctly, you get a prize. Simple as that. But why did I build this? Like all of you, the uncertainty of today's world has left me with a ton of anxiety. Who is going to win the World Series? Who is going to win the election? Will a nuclear bomb be detonated before the end of 2024? I need clear numbers I can trust! So of course, I'm completely enamored with the unbiased power of real-time onchain prediction markets like @polymarket. But there are still pressing questions out there that Polymarket doesn't have the stomach (or technical capabilities to answer).
