Channels converge to useless when treated like hashtags.

Tags on social media are dead technology. Machine learning replaced them many years ago.

A good channel metric is “new relationships formed”, aka community. You can’t have that if there’s a constant stream of tangentially related things.

I think channel clients should/will help people make 1:1 connections with others

like Donut or coffeebot but in a FC-native way
