lemon3 is an open source program that uses IPFS and Farcaster to allow decentralized file hosting and sharing. It's a mini Farcaster client and an IPFS node, and allows uploading and downloading files. Lots of rough edges, this is the mvp, but I'm very excited. https://blog.vrypan.net/2025/03/23/lemon3-farcaster-ipfs-decentralized-file-sharing/

question for @stevedylandev.eth with @castkeys and/or @rish perhaps as this is the neynar implementation if i am not mistaken. Seems you need warps to proceed still? we were nudged to swap these all out for usdc in our warplets. will/should this still work? Mine seems to get stuck in this state probs given i no longer have any

1/ I’m not sure if @vrypan.eth is using Neynar for signers, he might have built his own implementation 2/ If using Neynar, you can let Neynar sponsor it and no warps are charged (choice is made be developer) 3/ Warpcast still charges warps even though they allowed the conversion

To clarify, I think this app as well as others such as Mast are using signer private keys to authorize casts or writes. With a Neynar implementation there is no access to the private key, correct?

Yes there is. We offer the full range of signer products and also sponsor all of them if the developer chooses. Developer managed signers on this list will give private key access: https://docs.neynar.com/docs/which-signer-should-you-use-and-why
