The whole onboarding experience and UI is really smooth. NFC wallets are nothing new, but I think the mental model of having a card where you keep your money is so intuitive. It’s still quite focused on crypto users imo; the average person would have no idea what any of this means.

I added some funds and also sent an NFT on base to see if it would show up, but so far no dice even though it’s on the transactions

I put the UX up to the test by buying another Burner with my Burner, all on mobile! It did take some existing knowledge on how to do this by connecting with wallet connect codes, so definitely want to try connecting to my desktop next time. There’s something very satisfying about tapping your card anytime you want to do something onchain 👌

Overall I think it’s really cool. It’s hard to say how useful it is in my day to day life but at the very least enjoy experiencing how crypto is evolving.

What's really funny is this was the experience Status' Keycard was supposed to give, but that's basically vaporware.
