i have a question for the farcaster OGs... 

why *hasnt* a photo only version client taken off yet?

ive searched - and it seems the idea pops up every 2-3 months, n there have been some efforts to pursue, but it has never taken hold. why?

I built https://www.photocaster.xyz/ several months ago because at the time there wasn’t great photo quality uploads in Warpcast. It’s a novel idea, but the truth is most photographers on Farcaster don’t want another client to deal with. They would rather have Warpcast incorporate higher quality uploads than use another client (which they kinda did over time), at least thats the feedback I got. I don’t think making a mobile native app would change that attitude much.
