onchain is never down

genuine question: but what if the internet is down? like what if there is no connectivity, then you can't technically be "onchain" right?

i think about this more than i want to admit

No system is truly free from downtime, stuff happens. However blockchains are more resilient than a single point of failure. Eg sending crypto usually works more often than smaller pos systems that could go down at a moments notice.
