tips for getting sweet potato fries more crispy in the oven?

I wish I could find the reel, but one method used on yellow potatoes for a very crispy bake is boiling the dried and skinned potatoes, dropping them into cold water, then putting them in a pan with a fat/oil into the oven. Halfway through tossing them a bit more. Not sure it would work the same for sweet potatoes but might be a lead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
