Saw this clip from Girls on the Bus and it really stuck with me. The statement that our work is the first line of our obituary and our family is the last...oof. It reminds me of when Olivia Newton John died, and everyone was waiting for a statement from John Travolta. No one cared what her family had to say because they didn't know her family. But her onscreen relationship - her work - resonated with people. I guess the real question is: who do we want to remember us? I think maybe I care more about the eulogies than the obituary. Sorry, a dark turn for the parenting channel π I'm just trying to navigate these new-found intrusive thoughts
