A great twist on this is to add honey, a lot of butter, and fresh rosemary once they’ve reached this point and keep frying them. The honey eventually crisps up around them and they almost become candied it’s amazing

that sounds amazing! we will have to try it for some reason my daughter will eat these, but not normal baked potatoes most of the time
