Lorenzo Bernini by Gian Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680) was an Italian sculptor, architect, and painter who was one of the most important artists of the Baroque period. "The Abduction of Proserpina" is a substantial Baroque sculpture made from marble and created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It was crafted during the early stage of Bernini's career, between 1621 and 1622.
