why does revoking a signer delete all messages it created? or is this just a warpcast added step? perhaps @horsefacts.eth @stephancill

It’s a side effect of how signers work today, not just a warpcast feature

You can use the signer tool to back up the messages for a given signer, create a new signer, and rebroadcast them with the new signer

that’s disappointing. makes the ability to rotate signers for security very destructive
