If we made normal frames more like composer actions (i.e. Telegram-style mini-apps), what would you build that you can't with frames today?

The argument against is most people don't want use fully-featured apps in a squished window vs. in a separate app. When frames work well, it's because they are constrained with a clear call to action and meet users in the feed where they are spending time.

Frames are good for what they are: interactive link previews

imo being able to launch a mini app from a frame completes the spectrum of fidelity i.e.

Link preview -> interactive link preview -> mini app -> full standalone app

Would probably convert any frame with more than 2 steps into a mini app

I would personally love it for viewing stories (see composer action vs frame below)

I think there’s a place for both modalities
