Feeling inspired. Might fuck around and build a fully standalone farcaster client that only depends on a connection to a hub again

I was thinking about this the other day. I wonder how many ppl would run their own hub or node or whatever is needed so that they could have a "local only" client and serve themselves their own Farcaster experience. You could control what you keep indexed and archived. Basically having your own "light-node" of what matters to you. Is this tracking or did I go down a tangent?

I was thinking about this because I save a lot of links to people's casts, but there's no guarantee that they will be preserved if that person doesn't pay for their storage each year. So I want to be able to easily run my own light node that archives every cast I save so I never lose them, regardless of what the OP or other nodes keep lively. I don't want all my saved links to go dead in 5-10 years!!
