I watched the whole interview, and after that I decided I'm never touching solana

solana culture is definitely more toxic than anywhere else right now, but with that being said we see these types of people pop up wherever the money is in every hype cycle

...not a good look for solana to be the focal point of crime for two consecutive cycles in a row though 🫠

It's even worse when you see what Toly, the cofounder, keeps on defending. It's a culture issue from the top down. I don't even know if there's a way to salvage or reform it.

bitcoin was the focal point of crime for every cycle until eth was invented, then all the fraud lived there, now solana takes its turn. centralized crypto entities have also always been havens for crime, incl. coinbase (see: insider trading bitcoin cash among others). 

at some point you have to look in the mirror and admit that this tech facilitates unregulated crime as much as it facilitates seamless cross-border payments. opportunists will continue to take advantage until scammers are held accountable.
