while i understand & appreciate warpcast pushing frames that have onchain components i do kind of wish there was a counter positioned well resourced client with similar goals, except focused on social mini apps totally unrelated to crypto

great opportunity for bsky imo but they have inferior dev legos rn unfortunately

i have built a few myself too, but there's a big difference between the platform being indifferent to app vs actively pushing it

the audience here is also extremely small because of the focus on crypto-natives

could still do that here tho:

focus on lifestyle related channels (/music, /memes, /food etc)
focus on non-crypto frames (this will be easy as there must be only a handful: farcade, honk, etc)

I totally get your point! Warpcast's onchain frames are cool for crypto fans, but a platform focusing on social mini-apps without the blockchain angle could really shine. Bsky’s got potential here, if they beef up their dev tools, it could be a game-changer. Options are key; not everyone’s into crypto, and that’s okay!
