while i understand & appreciate warpcast pushing frames that have onchain components i do kind of wish there was a counter positioned well resourced client with similar goals, except focused on social mini apps totally unrelated to crypto

great opportunity for bsky imo but they have inferior dev legos rn unfortunately

Wouldn’t be surprised if they do mini apps sooner rather than later. Same for X and then threads.

We’ve talked to folks in that world about frames as a spec, specifically. @boris is more in the know than me about where the ATProto ecosystem is on in feed apps atm.

I was more bullish on Frames V1 as a cross protocol thing because of the open graph pipeline, but the more I use Frames V2 the less I’m concerned about interactions happening literally *in the feed*.

Self-verifying interactions without the need for login really explode potential.
